A studio compound in the desert town of Marfa TX which combines vernacular building techniques with witty modern moves. Compact loft spaces house sleeping, cooking and bathing needs while a second skin of perforated metal creates a generous shaded area for outdoor eating and entertaining. The project is being built incrementally with our clients, starting with the steel retaining wall and an airstream trailer..... more soon we hope!
