THE MOHAWK // AUSTIN // 2006-2009
We’ve created a series of installations and interventions for this popular music venue in downtown Austin, often with recycled materials and always with low budgets. When it first opened we clad the walls in old truss scraps and wove the fence with pallet straps from a local lumberyard. Since then we’ve added a steel handrail around the second floor deck, a shade structure, photo graphics, planters, benches and a roof canopy over the outdoor stage, ensuring this bar continues to surprise its loyal patrons.
