ART ROCKS BUS SHELTER // ATHENS, GA // 2008
The bus shelter is inspired by the structure of sheet music. The ‘lines’ of a standard music staff become flat pieces of sheet metal slotted together. These make a rigid structural system which is both the walls and the roof. The ‘notes’ are colorful panels inserted randomly into the structure to create a dynamic, playful screen.
